As a citizen of Yokohama, I was mistaken in thinking that Higashiyamato City sounded familiar to me, and it was about a 40-minute ride on the Seibu Shinjuku Line from Shinjuku Station. This is the first time I have been further than Tanashi Station on the Seibu Shinjuku Line! (Don't get me started on the fact that Yokohama City is to the east of Yamato City.)

The regular who introduced me to this restaurant is a big fan of this dish. I thought it would be good, but it was so tasty and had no smell at all. I think the texture is softer than other senmai I have eaten. It goes well with the special vinegared miso paste.

Wow, my beer was empty at this point.
Even my companion, who is not a big fan of raw meat, was so satisfied with this dish that he considered having another one.
Jai An's extra-thick tongue (980 yen)
This is also a signature dish. The surface of the tongue has been sliced to make it easier to eat, but I think I could have eaten it without it.
We first grilled it thoroughly over high heat and then let it rest on the edge of the shichirin.
Lemon juice was recommended, but it is delicious enough as it is because of the salt.

One of the regulars had contacted the owner and came to our table to greet us.
When I asked for his recommendation, he said that tomosankaku was his favorite although it was not on the menu, so I ordered it without hesitation. It looks a bit tough, but when eaten with an egg yolk, it is very mild.
I could eat a whole bowl of rice with just one piece.
A little different roast beef for adults (780 yen)
I ended up having more roast beef, but I didn't want to eat the same thing again.
This one is served with miso paste and green onions, so it looks like nameko mushrooms. In short, this is a drinker's killer, so I think it would be hard without a drink.
Jian An Kalbi (1,280 yen)
This is the royal menu of yakiniku with tare sauce.
The cut is thick, so the first piece was cooked rare and the second medium.
The bill was reasonable and my companion was very satisfied. We left the restaurant vowing to return within the year.
