A yakiniku restaurant with tender meat and a calming atmosphere
Yakiniku Gyukou Ishikawa-an is renowned for its tender and delicious meat. The exceptional softness of the premium tongue and top-quality short ribs is a must-try, and you can also learn detailed explanations about different cuts of meat, making it a paradise for meat lovers. The menu is fresh and diverse, offering a unique yakiniku experience that you won't find anywhere else.
I visited in March and enjoyed it so much that I decided to make a second visit already.
The menu does not have any super-rare parts, but rather the usual menu items such as ribs, halami, tongue, liver, and loin, all of which are very tasty.
The restaurant recommends ordering all the meats at once first, so I considered what to order and the order in which to eat them while riding the train, referring to my post from my last visit and other people's posts.
Top Tongue Salt
Grilled liver (again, I don't remember grilling much this time)
Top Harami
Special fillet
Medium loin
Other dishes were kimchi, rice, wakame seaweed soup, and choregi salad.
The special fillet in particular is a must-try. It is served as a chunk of meat, and before eating, it is chopped into bite-size pieces with scissors. The center part, grilled to medium rare, is certified as "My Best of Tender and Juicy". The outer portion is cooked to medium well-done, the excess moisture is removed and the flavor of the meat is too intense.
And since they were out of the top loin this time, I ordered the medium loin, which was "The lean meat" and refreshed my mouth that had been a little greasy from eating the harami and fillet, and finished the meal.
Please refer to the previous post for the top tongue salt and top halami, and the Daikoen Tachikawa restaurant post for the liver yaki.
The side dishes are also very good, so I recommend visiting the restaurant with about 4 people (but don't fight with them, as each plate contains 5 pieces of meat).
