The balance between the thick kampachi and the fragrant sea bream with sudachi was exquisite, with the sushi having a perfect ratio of toppings to small rice. The grilled Spanish mackerel served with smooth corn miso was full of seasonal flavors, bringing a smile to my face. The dishes, such as the fried black throat sea perch and the beef tongue simmered for four hours, were also of high quality, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. Even the finishing touch of the shaved ice was carefully prepared, allowing me to enjoy a refreshing aftertaste until the very end.
For food: The beef tongue was delicious, the best one I have ever tried. The sides were okay, I am not a fan of curry so I didn't finish it. I loved the rice too and it was an infinite refill. Arrangement: The booking was full all the time, luckily I got my reservation. The staff were nice and they offered an English menu, foreigner friendly.
I was looking for a restaurant in the Shin-Okubo area to try mulhoe (water sashimi) and was attracted by Toshiof's review and the variety of menu items, so I visited the restaurant for the first time. The lighting is subdued, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere slowly. The first dish, tuna poke rice, has a mechanism where you open a round lid yourself, which is very exciting. The sashimi platter is carefully arranged with each piece, clearly showcasing the quality of the ingredients. The nigiri with sea bream and squid has a good balance with the rice, and the aroma is pleasant. You can enjoy a wide variety, including seared salmon, eel, and wagyu nigiri, and the flow of the course is comfortable.
