When I sat at the counter, the energetic owner immediately greeted me, which was a relief. The rice bowl was piled high with seafood selected from all over the country, and each bite spread rich flavors. The ingredients were cut into easy-to-eat sizes, so I couldn't stop using my chopsticks and finished it in no time. The light miso soup had no unpleasant smell and paired perfectly with the rice bowl. The shelves were lined with a variety of sake and Japanese whiskey, making it fun to compare different types. The aroma of soba noodles is wonderful!
On the way back from Oki Island, we got off the ferry arriving at Sakaiminato in the late afternoon and wondered which sushi restaurant we should go to.
There is a counter that seats about 10 people and three tatami rooms in the back.
I am left-handed, so I sit at the left end of the counter, which is slightly bent, and check the menu.
There are a variety of dishes such as zarusoba and tane-mono, and it is good that the volume is written on the menu.
First, we order sake, soba tofu (150 yen), and tempura (350 yen).
Even though they seem to come out right away, they seem to come out in order of order of order, and after a short wait, the Soba Tofu arrives.
Tempura was also served hot, so I was very satisfied.
And the price is cheap.
When my stomach had settled down to some extent, I ordered zaru-soba, which was also juwari-soba.
It was also made of Jyuwari Soba and had a wonderful aroma.
I really wanted to order a large portion, but I could not resist the temptation to eat at a sushi restaurant that I passed by, so I had a normal portion.
If there were one in my neighborhood, I would go there every week.
