Our eel is prepared in the Kansai style of kabayaki, grilled over charcoal without steaming, using a secret sauce passed down through generations. By grilling while appropriately rendering the fat, you can savor the original flavor and fluffy texture of the eel. In our kappo, we value a friendly atmosphere, allowing you to enjoy the flavors of Shinshu that reflect the changing seasons.

The grilled eel, a specialty of Sakuraya, is wrapped in sticky rice and rolled in bamboo leaves. The sauce is perfectly balanced with the rice, and the aroma of the bamboo enhances the rich flavors of the dish. *Unagi Sasamushi, Shirogiri Sasamushi, and Yahata Mushi are also available for takeout and frozen delivery.
