Each dish, utilizing local ingredients, is very carefully prepared and delicious. In particular, the chawanmushi (savory egg custard) with the aroma of corn and flower crab left a strong impression. The sashimi of sanma (Pacific saury) paired with soy sauce infused with the fragrance of shungiku (chrysanthemum leaves) enhances the umami flavor significantly. The freshly fried tempura has a light and fragrant batter, and the use of slightly unusual ingredients like shrimp yam is delightful. The dishes are served at a comfortable pace, and the sense of the tableware is lovely, uplifting the mood. Even the final ochazuke (tea over rice) and sakura shrimp mixed rice were delicious, and the onigiri (rice balls) for the journey home were a nice touch.
