Whiskey that is bottled from 'malt whiskey' produced at one distillery is called 'single malt whiskey,' while a blend of 'malt whiskey' from multiple distilleries and 'grain whiskey' made from ingredients like corn is called 'blended whiskey.' While 'blended whiskey' is expertly blended to achieve a balanced taste and aroma with various characteristics, 'single malt whiskey' reflects the individuality and commitment of that distillery.
