At the tempura izakaya located inside Chikamachi Lounge, you can enjoy a casual dining experience. The freshly fried tempura has a crispy batter, and the shrimp is plump while the white fish has a light texture. The signature carrot kakiage has a great shredded texture, making it perfect as a snack. The rice topped with a soft-boiled egg tempura is satisfying, as it is coated with a rich sauce and tempura scraps. The sweet potato is thick and has a noticeable sweetness, and you can enjoy the difference in flavor with salt and tempura dipping sauce. The clam miso soup and pickles also have a pleasant aroma, and overall, the meal is well-balanced.
