Yakitori Hakkodo opened in the spring of 2018 and is quickly gaining popularity. It is a restaurant where you can enjoy richly seasoned chicken dishes at reasonable prices. Fukushima and Tenma, where I often go, are "yakitori battlegrounds," but there are surprisingly few in Nakazaki-cho. I hope you will find its charm in this article.

Appearance
Located along Miyakojima-dori, just outside of Nakazakicho Station. The black exterior is stylish and very clean as it has only been open for two years.
Interior
I forgot to take a picture of the seats... There are 8 seats at the L-shaped counter, a table for 8 persons, and a table for 2 persons. It is said that the small restaurant is always packed. The interior is as stylish as the exterior, and there was a group of women in the restaurant.
Dishes
Liver sashimi ¥600
The liver is drowned in sesame oil. The seasoning is extremely strong, but the fresh liver has a strong presence. The purine collaboration with beer was the best, but not for gout players.
Sasami Yukke (white meat yukke) ¥600
Healthy white meat marinated in sauce and served with egg yolk. The rich flavor also makes the beer go down a treat. Add green onions and nori (seaweed) as you like.
Zuri Sashimi ¥600

Hatsu (pork cutlet)
The moment when a large amount of juices are released after the elastic texture is truly blissful. It is delicious.
Harami
Tightly pierced and packed with flavor. Like the hatsu, it is juicy and overflows with juices. The unique texture of the meat is still there.
Kimono
The rare grilled giblets are easy to eat without any unpleasant sticky texture. Even those who don't like it may be able to enjoy it.
Bonjiri

This restaurant was opened in April 2018 by the owner who became independent from the popular restaurant "Toritomo" in Higashi Umeda. The food is generally highly seasoned, and those who like it may like it a lot, while others may not like it so much. I am definitely the former (laughs). The restaurant's popularity will continue to grow, not only because of its taste and reasonable prices, but also because of its bright interior, which is perfectly suited to the modern marketing of creating an Instagram image. We made reservations based on the reviews. All the food was as good as the reviews said it would be. The sashimi, rare parts, etc. made me want to go back to Hachikondo, but the drinks were not good. I ordered a glass of wine, but the glass was freshly washed and soaked with water, and it was left there without being wiped. We dumped the water that had collected in the glass into an empty glass. I wanted paper, but they seemed busy, so I poured the wine without asking.
I think they were too busy, and I understand their feelings, but it was a waste of good food and wine.
The atmosphere was nice, the service was not bad, and of course the food tasted very good, but that was my only regret.

It's a great place to hang out with friends because there is a time limit (you can't entertain or sit down and have a long drink and eat...).
