Pork is generally said to be delicious when aged for 3 to 7 days at a temperature of 0°C to 2°C after slaughter. At Butami, we provide fresh pork that has undergone proper temperature management and is said to be the most delicious after a 3 to 7-day aging process, resulting in tenderness, sweetness, and flavor. A blend of flavors and marbling from Beijing black pork, the sweetness and smoothness of Berkshire marbled pork, and the productivity of Duroc, perfected over five generations and seven years. The meat is light in color, tender in texture, with a smooth mouthfeel, and the flavor, taste, and marbling are exquisite.

The premium brand pork 'Southern Island Pork' is produced at the Nagata Breeding Farm in Kawaminami Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, which has won the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award twice. The characteristics of 'Southern Island Pork' include a moderate chewiness, fine meat texture, and a sweetness in the fat.

Matsusaka Pork is the only brand pork allowed to be called 'Matsusaka Pork' in Japan, having received an evaluation from the Matsusaka Meat Public Corporation in Mie Prefecture, which certifies Matsusaka Beef, stating that it is comparable to Matsusaka Beef. It is produced using the same know-how as Matsusaka Beef.
