Miyabiya is an izakaya where you can fully enjoy the flavors of Kyushu cuisine. The late operating hours are a delight, allowing you to enjoy delicious food and drinks even after work. The sesame mackerel from Hakata is particularly impressive, with a perfect harmony between the robust sesame flavor and the mackerel. The quiet and calming atmosphere makes it easy to enjoy a drink alone, which is one of its charms.

You can casually enjoy the flavors of Kyushu at an izakaya close to the station. When I tasted the yellowfin tuna served with a jelly-like soy sauce, my excitement rose from the very first bite. The crispy fried horse mackerel and takoyaki with mentaiko mayo can be ordered in half sizes, allowing for a variety of options even when dining alone. The signature beef cutlet has a light batter, and the combination of wasabi and sauce enhances the meat's umami. There are also plenty of warm dishes like motsunabe (beef tripe hot pot) and chicken skin, which made me keep drinking. The calm atmosphere of the counter seats made it comfortable to drink quietly, and I ended up staying longer than I intended.
