A hidden gem for enjoying Edomae sushi

Located in the quiet area of Shinsen in Shibuya, this renowned Edomae sushi restaurant is a hidden gem. The counter, made of warm white wood, creates a calm atmosphere where you can savor meticulously crafted sushi. The skillful techniques of the chef, who trained at Kyubey, shine through in the elegant nigiri that is particularly popular among women. The exquisite pairing of refined dishes with sake and wine makes for a blissful experience.

Sushi on the royal road. You can enjoy it with peace of mind! Shibuya Akizuki, the name of the restaurant was given by the owner, a native of Kurume, after the local name Akizuki in Asakura, Fukuoka. The owner trained at Kyubei for more than 10 years and is the mentor of Sato-san, the owner of Ginza Tomomi. He loves to eat and drink, and he is also very particular about wine (although I can't drink). He is off on Sundays and often goes out to eat. There are three kinds of courses 12,000 yen 15,000 yen 18,000 yen I chose the 12,000 yen course. The red rice had a refreshing taste. There were no outstanding items, but all items were of a high standard. There are many sushi restaurants that require reservations, but this is not one of the popular ones. The owner is very personable and our conversation was at a reasonable distance and the two hours went by very quickly. This is a place I would like to go back to. It is a great restaurant in Shinsen! And the plates! The plates are wonderful. Today's plates are light blue, which means summer plates, and they are very nice! The dishes also change with the tableware. A sushi restaurant where you can feel the four seasons, the ingredients, and the tableware. It was a perfect match.

COSPACIOUS NORMAL EDOMAE SUSHI This is a 17-course meal for 18,000 yen. The nigiri is small, so it's not enough. I had two pieces of nigiri each, but my stomach was also normal. It's a much smaller nigiri. It's very clear and orthodox, I know. Tsumami is a streamlined, factory-like thing. Costa is bad! The restaurant was rattled and there was only us and one other couple, Reservations are easy to get. Is it a good place to go if you have a sudden craving for sushi? Anyway, it's not a good cospa! It was a good lesson for me!
