A genuine shochu made from Kagoshima-grown sweet potatoes, brewed with pristine water filtered through primeval forests. It has a smooth mouthfeel and a sweet aftertaste.
A Satsuma shochu that maximizes the characteristics of the Kogane Sengan sweet potato by using the shitsugi method of aging awamori, allowing for a full enjoyment of its umami through rough filtration.
Deliberately coarsely filtered, this shochu uses atmospheric distillation to maximize the flavor of the ingredients and employs black koji to bring out a roasted taste, overturning the image of a soft flavor associated with barley.
This Aojō, made from sweet potatoes and pure barley produced in Aogashima of the Izu Islands, has been carefully aged for at least 5 years, resulting in a sweet aroma and a smooth mouthfeel.
