The "Omakase" course is a unique course at Yamaei where you can fully enjoy seasonal kappo cuisine and items synonymous with Satsuma cuisine, such as kibinago, satsuma-age, pork bone dishes, etc.

The "Kuroge Wagyu Shabu Shabu Course" consists of an approximately 80g slice of carefully selected Kagoshima black beef lower loin, served with our secret ponzu and thick sesame sauce. Shabu-shabu vegetables are prepared with seasonal vegetables. In between dishes, you will be served with a little bit of the witty cooking that only a kappo restaurant can offer. The final dish is our famous rice gruel made with sea bream in a tidal soup.

The "Kurobuta Shabu Shabu Shabu and Local Cuisine Course" is a course featuring carefully selected "Kagoshima Kurobuta Satsuma" shabu shabu shabu shabu, along with local Kagoshima delicacies such as kibinago sashimi and satsuma-age, and a moderate mix of seasonal dishes that only kappo cooking can offer.

You can enjoy the full flavor of Kagoshima's natural environment, using an abundance of natural fish from the surrounding waters, Kurobuta pork, Japanese black beef, and other ingredients. We have created a well-balanced course that combines traditional local cuisine with the elegant and modern flavors of Yamaei.

This course allows you to enjoy high-quality Kagoshima local cuisine and the taste of Yamaei, which has been passed down for 92 years. The cuisine is both essential and modern, and the flavors of Kagoshima are unique to this restaurant.

A little bit of delicious food. This counter-only course includes 4 brands of sake or 4 brands of shochu. You can also enjoy the use of different sake cups and utensils in this relaxing space made of a single piece of wood.
