C'era solo un cuoco, ma era molto abile e il servizio era veloce, e la qualità del cibo era soddisfacente. Anche il personale di sala era molto efficiente e attento, rendendo l'atmosfera piacevole per mangiare.

Since I usually pair Japanese food with wine, I was happy to find wine available. I ordered a bottle of sparkling wine. I started with a sashimi platter. It was my first time eating grouper sashimi. The bonito was also very delicious (even though I'm not usually that fond of it). Sashimi platters are always available at izakayas, but this is the first time I've had the impression that I definitely want to eat it again. On the other hand, regarding the seating, it was at the counter, but it felt a bit cramped. I had ordered about two dishes, and with the wine cooler also on the counter, it required some creativity on how to arrange everything. Additionally, during this season, every time the door opens, cold air comes in... So, while I was very satisfied with the meal, I think it might be better to avoid a counter seat near the door.

Kichijoji Uoshu ✳︎Suriko ✳︎Hotaru-ika-okiizuke (firefly squid) ✳︎ Bowl of rice topped with a bowl of tuna ✳︎Hokki-gai rice ball Take-out on the way home from work. I had a small drink with snacks, and the warm rice balls were great 😚 There was a lot of meat in them. I think I drink more now that I'm a shut-in... To make the most of this opportunity, I started studying for the wine expert exam last month! But the amount of memorization is much more than I expected and I'm getting discouraged😭I'm going to remember the test period in medical school and do my best. I hope that even at a time like this, things will turn out better later on.

I eat it up with a bite (n´vn) ♡ It's hard to believe that it's a takeaway! Delicious from the heart! Happy ♡♡♡ They also have a snack set for those who like to drink, and salted fish to take out 🤤. Thinking back, I've been going to Uoshu since I was a student. Now it is a famous restaurant that no one knows in Kichijoji, and this year is its 10th anniversary ✨Wow! It's been a long time since I met Mr. Shu, and we were talking about how "Saporin is actually getting old now, isn't she? I didn't even have Instagram back then and I didn't think I would become such a fish lover and drinker 🐱. In this day and age, the warmth and connection with others is so very much appreciated. I want to take care of myself and somehow get through these times. The oysters are so delicious that I'm thinking about when to ask for them again next week after work....
