A recommended dish from our restaurant topped with fresh ingredients specialty to Hachijojima and drizzled with sweet soy sauce! Please be aware that it comes in a large portion. (laughs)
Our head chef presents this massive serving for more than four people. On top of fluffy rice from Yamagata Prefecture, we piled on local marinated sashimi until the rice is no longer visible, and then covered it with exceptionally fresh local fish. As of August 2, 2025, only one customer has managed to finish it all by themselves. (laughs)
Why is it the No. 2 in order rate? If you try it, you will surely understand.
A boat platter of five types of sashimi caught in Hachijo Island, tempura made with ashitaba, rolled omelet with island dashi, ashitaba ohitashi, island pickles, and ashitaba salt. This is a limited-time menu available for breakfast and lunch from 8:30 to 15:00. I believe you will be able to fully enjoy Hachijo Island.
You can enjoy three types of fresh local fish caught in Hachijo Island. Since they are freshly caught, you can savor the true taste of the fish.
You can enjoy five types of exceptionally fresh local fish caught in Hachijo Island. It seems that our restaurant is the only one in Hachijo Island that always stocks more than five types.
Please enjoy the tempura made with Ashitaba, a specialty of Hachijo Island, and Umikaze Shiitake with Sanuki Udon in Hachijo's local salted broth. *Toppings available... Ebi tempura, extra Ashitaba, extra Umikaze Shiitake.
