Enjoy the fantastic Kyomizu eel in Nagoya's famous Hitsumabushi. The Kyomizu eel is grilled softly over a charcoal fire and is exquisite.
This is a recommended eel kaiseki course that includes all kinds of eel with Uzaku (white eel), Umayaki (broiled eel), and Hitsumabushi (eel on a stick).
Enjoy an assortment of three kinds of fresh sashimi and appetizers such as kobachi (small bowls of cooked food), uzaku (a small bowl of rice topped with a small piece of fish), and seasonal kuchidori. After tasting warm steamed egg custard and deep-fried large prawns, finish with the famous hitsu-mabushi and soup, and finally take a breather with seasonal sweet. This is a luxurious course that allows you to enjoy seasonal flavors one dish at a time.

The Kyomizu eel, farmed in Yaizu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, is said to have a taste that is incredibly close to that of wild eel, thanks to its pseudo-four-season breeding method. The farming quantity is limited, and it is not commonly distributed in the general market, making it a legendary eel. It can only be found in about 40 specialty eel restaurants across the country. To maximize the deliciousness of the Kyomizu eel, it is grilled using the 'Kanto style' method, which involves steaming after white grilling. This eel is regarded as a rare brand eel.
Previously it came with grilled liver, but it no longer does. The size of the eel may vary depending on the supply. The final weight will be adjusted to be the same.

Ajinami's grilled eel rice is cooked after receiving an order. Thanks to Ajinami's unique method, the eel sauce seeps into the rice all the way to the core, and the steaming effect makes the eel fluffy. Please enjoy the difference from hitsumabushi.
This is a kaiseki-style set with hitsumabushi as the main dish. Includes: sashimi platter, small bowl, chawanmushi, mini seafood salad, hitsumabushi, fried pork fillet & shrimp fry, soup, dessert.
