Plaza has been around for a long time, hasn't it? This store is located near JR Higashiyodogawa Station. Plaza, as I mentioned in the title It has been there since I was a child, maybe! Whenever my partner misses Hiroshima okonomiyaki, he comes here to eat it. I think it's because it's so close to the restaurant. This time, we ate take-out! And for the first time in a very long time! Modern yaki: 700 yen, Mochi: 100 yen There are many restaurants offering take-out okonomiyaki nowadays. Most of them use a round container to take the okonomiyaki home in its original state. But here, it's always in a half-folded food pack. I want to eat it as it is! I wish they would improve this! Also, even though it's a Hiroshima-yaki plaza, it's not Otafuku Sauce or Carp Sauce! Homemade sauces... they just don't have enough punch! I heard that people in Hiroshima prefer Otafuku Sauce or Carp Sauce! And because there is not enough sauce, the buckwheat is usually tasteless! My partner always adds more sauce! I don't praise it much, but sometimes I eat here! The reason is that it is close by and easy to eat! Hope to see improvement next time!

Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki is available! One holiday afternoon, I was hungry! Do you want to go somewhere to eat? I asked my partner if we should go somewhere to eat. Hmmm... There are not many places to have lunch around here. Even on weekdays it's a struggle, and even more so on holidays! Then, I want to eat okonomiyaki, so let's go there! I got on my bike and followed him from behind. Here we are at Plaza! I had an idea of where we were going to go on the way! This place has had the right store since I was a kid, It has been around since I was a child, and is a very popular place for Hiroshima residents to eat Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki! When my partner came to Osaka, he wanted a place where he could eat Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki instead of modern okonomiyaki. I heard that he used to frequent this restaurant as a place where he could eat Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki instead of modern-yaki. I haven't been to an eat-in restaurant since I was a child. There is a counter in the front and 3 tables (4 people x 3 tables) in the back. I ordered a modern yaki! I guess I had to write "modern" to be understood here in Osaka. It says "1 item" or "3 items" on the side, which is the number of toppings you can choose from the toppings menu. The standard pig, squid, shrimp, and cheese The odd ones out are okra and sand zuri. I went with the super safe choice of pig! They grill it on the griddle at the counter and serve it to you as soon as it's ready! It's a table, but it's fun to watch the cooking process! The finished modern-yaki! I wonder if it's the type of yaki that is cooked by pressing down on it. It's not very tall, but there is a lot of steamed cabbage in it! This is what makes Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki so delicious! The top is covered with a lot of sauce, though, The inside is simple, so it is not so thick and has a healthy taste! This is the good thing about Hiroshima style! The only thing that bothered me a little was the chalky smell. This bothered me towards the end of the meal. I was happy to be able to eat Hiroshima okonomiyaki because it was so rare... But in general, it's just average... My partner said that the okonomiyaki his father cooked for him was delicious! I hope his son can soon get close to his father's taste! Thank you for the meal!
