It is set back a little from the road like a hideaway, and when you open the door, a bright and open space unfolds. The staff are energetic and efficient, so the dishes you order arrive smoothly. The Heartland draft beer I had first was pleasant on the throat, and the marinated horse mackerel appetizer instantly lifted my spirits. The fried chicken was well-seasoned and juicy, and the horse sashimi was incredibly fresh, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The sashimi platter and seared mackerel had a perfect balance of saltiness, and pairing them with sake brought out even more umami. The final dish I ordered, the offal hot pot, had a rich broth and excellent offal that paired perfectly, making me feel that this is a place where you can enjoy yourself with a smile until the very end.
