A heartwarming small restaurant in Tokushima

Sawaragi is a small restaurant located in front of Tokushima Station. It uses plenty of locally sourced ingredients from Tokushima, and each dish is carefully seasoned, exuding a sense of warmth. The calm atmosphere of the interior relaxes visitors. With a wide selection of local sake, this wonderful establishment radiates love for the local community.

It is located in a place that is easy to walk to from the station, making it convenient to drop by. The compact interior has a counter-centered Showa retro atmosphere that is calming. It offers Tokushima ingredients and local sake, with detailed explanations that are exciting. The pumpkin jelly appetizer has a gentle flavor, with the aroma of wasabi and the texture of tonburi providing a nice accent. The shrimp and vegetable tempura has a light and crispy batter, and the sashimi and Awaodori chicken are also deliciously prepared. The friendly service and the tatami room on the second floor allow for a relaxing time.
