The bouillabaisse, a specialty of the restaurant, was delicious. The nigiri was very tasty, with a small red vinegared rice topped with well-seasoned fish that matched perfectly. Recommended by another sushi restaurant in Sapporo, I tried to make a reservation on short notice and was able to fit it into my schedule. The restaurant serves 26 items (including 14 nigiri), which is a huge number of items for one person to serve. Therefore, it is a prerequisite to have enough time and stomach to visit the restaurant (this dinner took 3.5 hours). The quality of the food is solid and the number of items is large, so the deliciousness lasts forever, and the price is kept low, so the satisfaction level is quite high. The sushi is served in three parts with a mixture of nibbles and nigiri, but first the rice is delicious. It is a red vinegar blend with just the right amount of hardness and goes very well with the tuna. The tuna is unique among sushi restaurants in Hokkaido, where tuna is somewhat weak. Kue, striped horse mackerel, kombujime (kelp-dried button prawn), and kohada (small skin) also have a delicious flavor that goes well with the rice. As for the snacks, the abalone steamed in sake with liver sauce with rice is creamy, and the bouillabaisse soup is also impressive. In the end, I was satisfied with almost everything. This is a good sushi restaurant with a keen research and customer-oriented approach.

The other day we went to Hokkaido for a "good food camp" ✈️ On the second day, we went to "Sushi and snacks master Kuriya" in Nango 7-chome 🍣. This was another restaurant we were looking forward to 🙌🙌! They chose a location outside the center of Sapporo to save money, and in return, they strive to improve the quality of their sushi 👏👏👏. The course is omakase (12,000 yen) only. ❗️ The number of dishes was huge, but I carefully selected the best 👇. (Note that my camera 📷 is broken, so I'll be posting on foodie for a while 😢😢) ▪️ Ootoro. Doesn't it look like a ham anymore 🤣🤣. The visual gives it an aura ❗️😇 It looks a little stringy, but when you put it in your mouth, the fat melts at once due to its low melting point 🤤🤤🤤. Mmmm, too delicious👍👍👍 What surprised me at the sushi camp this time was the high level of tuna in Hokkaido: ❗️ I could feel the effort of the captains in purchasing the fish: ❗️ ▪️Medium fatty tuna Luxuriously lightly pickled 😏😏. It's complicated with too many things coming out of it but it was so good 😭😭. If I could order it, I really wanted another glass 🙋🙋. The owner is very particular about what he does and is very passionate about learning 👏👏👏. Kuriya is a small sushi restaurant with only a counter. It is a sushi restaurant that has been listed in Michelin and we made a reservation for our visit. The menu is an omakase course only, and each dish was prepared slowly and carefully by the chef. Although there were many items on the menu, we were able to taste a little bit at a time, and the sushi, which was made in front of our eyes, was all superb. The attention to detail in the nigiri (rice ball) and sauce made for a memorable dinner.
