Upon entering a small bar located at the top of the stairs in a back alley, I was immediately soothed by the calm lighting. The bottles and shakers lined up at the back of the counter convey a dedication to drinks. The bearded master welcomed me with a smile and, just by telling him that I wanted a refreshing taste, he made the perfect drink for me. Sitting on the sofa and leisurely chatting with a friend, the friendly atmosphere felt like a snack, making me forget the time. Although it’s a popular place that can get crowded on Fridays, once seated, I found myself enveloped in comfort and ended up staying longer than intended. If you’re unsure about where to go for a second stop in Totsuka, this is a place that makes you want to drop by just by recalling its atmosphere.
