This is one of our in-house sommelier's very favorite wines. Alsace has perfected this varietal by interpreting it with a very slight sweetness on the front end & a powerful dry spice on the back end. Trimbach is the epitome of Alsatian gewürztraminer providing lots of fresh light fruit & white pepper finish
Possibly our favorite red of them all, this Syrah is loaded with hints of coffee bean, nutmeg & new leather. Flavors of fresh blueberries complement its big acidity & lengthy finish
Tavel has created a standard for rosé wine across Europe. This is not what most Americans know as rose wine. This Grenache & Cinsault blend creates a dry & earthy character

It has a low level of alcohol and a unique drinkability profile

Two words: "fruit bomb". Flavors include the juiciest, most mouthwatering flavors of ripe blackberry, strawberry & blueberry. This is easily the most"friendly" wine on the menu. Be prepared for a little residual sugar. This wine is best described as "liquid cheesecake"

our version of a long island
This historic vineyard lies at the heart of one of the finest Barolo crus, the San Biagio hill in the village of La Morra. The grapes are harvested in mid-October and hand-picked before going through careful selection and on to crushing. The maceration on the skins lasts around 20 days in small new oak vats to avoid overheating. After the alcoholic fermentation, the vats are emptied, washed and closed. At this stage, the wine is still full of yeasts, so it is put back into the same casks for malolactic fermentation, and left there until March on the lees. The final expression of this wine finds aromas of berries, roses, cooked plums and spicy balsamic overtones. On the palate one might find spicy and sweet tannins with overtones of licorice, tobacco and tar. Varietal: 100% Nebbiolo. Skin Contact: 20 Days. Barrel Aging: No less than 30 months in French oak
Splendid aromas of blueberry, cassis, and blackberries give way to layers of complexity. Velvety tannins and creamy texture envelop the familiar flavors of concentrated black-fruit. Elegantly balanced, the acidity and core structure deliver a persistant finish with hints of dark chocolate. This vineyard's position on the sloping hills of the historic Poggio Alle Mura Castle estate provides it with consistency of climate and sun position to produce consistently exceptional brunello. The soil in this region is rocky and packed with sediments originating from the Pliocene age to provide exceptional drainage and interesting plant characteristics. With impressive consistency between vintages, the "Poggio Alle Mura" is exceptionally structured and has a deep garnet color. It is complex with both spicy and sweet notes of vanilla, pipe tobacco and coffee on the nose. The aggressive structure is also rich and soft with lingering palate experiences. Varietal: 100% Sangiovese, from a combination of estate selected clones. Barrel Aging: 90% aged for 24 months in French Oak and 10% in Slavonian Oak (aged an additional 12 months in bottle)
From the owners of the wildly successful Vega Sicilia, comes a modern, almost Bordeaux-style tempranillo. 100% of this wine is made from the tempranillo grape from the same area and same vineyard as the Vega Sicilia, imparting the same concentration of flavor to the Bodegas y Viñedos Alion Tempranillo. This wine has notes of fresh strawberry and raspberry followed by a refreshing minerality and spice. Varietal: 100% Tempranillo. Barrel Aging: 14 months in French Oak

This wine is famously known for its elegance, balance and aging potential. Beaucastel has an exceptional terroir at the northern limit of the appellation of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, exposed to the mistral wind. All thirteen varieties of the appellation have been grown organically since the sixties. Nearly black in color, the nose is very delicate and powerful at the same time, red fruit, black currants, blackberries, spices, thyme and lavender. The bouquet is very elegant, rich and round. Figs, cherries, black currants and stewed fruit, all with great acidity. The tannins are present but very delicate. Varietal: A blend of over 10 varietals approved for the appellation. Barrel Aging: 12 months in French oak
The 2011 Tignanello is an intense ruby red in color with purple highlights. The wine is ripe on the nose with notes of dark fruit and with much underlying freshness on the aromatic finish; plum fruit dominates the aromatic gamut along with cherries, and the aromas evolve with vigor and balance towards sensations of mint and liquorice. On the palate, though still young, the wine is ready and inviting, rich and harmonious; excellent balance of the flavors thanks to the tonic acidity, solidity, and the suppleness of the tannins. The finish and aftertaste are rich and savory and are characterized by a sweet persistence and length. Varietal: 80% Sangiovese, 5% Cabernet Franc, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon. Barrel Aging: 12-14 months in both French and Hungarian oak
This Riesling comes from the Rüdesheimer Berg (Hugh Johnson calls this hill "Germany's most magnificent vineyard") and from the Lorcher Berg. Here the Riesling finds optimal ripening condi ktions. The mild climate and a long vegetation period make the fruit ripen perfectly. The soils are porous and force the grapevine to root deeply. This bears two precious advantages: firstly, during dry years our grapevines can still reach necessary groundwater, and secondly wet years can't harm the vines. Being steep like nowhere else, and warmer in summer, the sites bear enormous potential to produce first-class wines. After being gently pressed, the Riesling is fermented and vinified in temperature controlled stainless steel vessels of various sizes. During this process it is most important to preserve the terroir until bottling or assemblage, by strictly keeping the different lots separate. Crystal-clear, bright with typical Riesling flavors, combined with hints of quince and slate. Very intense, racy, juicy, and dense. Still young but lively, very well balanced with a nice aftertaste and very easy and delightful to drink. Varietal: 100% Riesling. Residual Sugar: 8.8 g/l
Ten is named for the ten Pinot Noir clones found on the Sea Smoke estate vineyard. This is Sea Smoke's most masculine wine, it is brooding and intense, with firm, mature tannins and a long, velvety finish. Ten is not for the faint-of-heart and has been known, on occasion, to convert even the most fanatic Cabernet lover. Varietal: 100% Pinot Noir (ten clones of pinot noir, from which the wine takes it's name). Barrel Aging: 16 months exclusively in French oak, 70% new barrels
A rich, dense ruby color, hints at the dark fruit nose of blackberry and currant that carries through to the palate, interwoven with complex aromas of black licorice, anise and crème de cassis. On the palate, the wine opens up to reveal an earthiness, with brown spice, cigar box and ripe dark fruits that linger throughout the extracted and long finish. The texture is opulent and rich, yet has a velvety quality with supple density. Rich, fine‐grained tannins are balanced with ripe fruit, acidity and oak. Varietal: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Barrel Aging: Avg 18 months in predominantly new French oak
The 2012 Pillow Road Chardonnay was harvested during the night to preserve the fresh fruit characters. The grapes are hand sorted and gently whole cluster pressed to preserve the delicate aromas. The juice is cold settled for 24 hours in tank then transferred to 50% new artisan French Burgundy barrels to undergo a natural fermentation. The wine is aged sur-lies for 12 months and batônnage (stirred) routinely to enhance a rich and complex palate. This wine features a mélange of aromas of Meyer lemon, citrus blossom and dried apricot with hints of hazelnut and vanilla. The wines aroma carries through to a long, flavorful palate supported by juicy texture and refreshing acidity. Due to its very limited production there are very few bottles available this year. Varietal: 100% Chardonnay. Barrel Aging: 12 months in French oak; 50% new
Grown in kimmeridgian, clay and limestone soils, this chardonnay is the perfect example of the world's top Chablis. It was aged on fine lees for no less than 15 months before being aged in bottle. Look for notes of pear and green orchard fruit with stony minerality. Fruit on the palate will be full and fresh but not heavy, with citrus that blends perfectly smoothly into warm butter and caramel. Note the flavors imparted to this chardonnay from the perfect limestone soil. Varietal: 100% Chardonnay. Barrel Aging: 15 months in French oak
One of the most well known wines from Southern California, the Isosceles is bright with a dark ruby and purple core. This wine is aromatic with ripe black cherry, cassis and a touch of red berry. Look for notes of toasted vanilla, cinnamon spice, and a unique, but subtle, smoky cocoa. Varietal: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc. Barrel Aging: 21 months in new French oak
The Chateau Lafleur-Petrus is a Bordeaux wine from the appelation Pomerol. The Cheateau Lafleur winery is loacted on the Right Bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Gironde and as all wines in this appellation, this Pomerol wine is unclassified and its estate is estimated among the great growths of the Right Bank region. 2009 Lafleur-Petrus pops from the glass with aromas of black and red berries, licorice, spice, mocha, and chocolate. Full bodied, rich, and silky with velvety tannins, this sensuous wine has a long finish filled with layers of blackberry, dark cherry, and spice flavors. Varietal: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc. Barrel Aging: 18 months in up to 50% new French oak
