Using the water of Kirishima blessed with a good environment from Sato Brewery in Kagoshima Prefecture, this is a rich and sharp black koji with a full-bodied flavor, yet has a rounded mouthfeel. A confident work that does not fall short of 3Mnimo!!
Compared to Sato Brewery's black koji from Kagoshima Prefecture, this has a softer taste, showcasing the natural gentle sweetness of sweet potatoes and a clear throat feel. While black koji is likened to men, white koji is compared to women, and when enjoyed on the rocks, it offers a particularly enjoyable change in flavor.
Using locally produced purple sweet potatoes from Kagoshima Prefecture, we carefully brewed at low temperatures and bottled it with a refreshing and crisp feel. It has a fruity aroma and sweetness that is popular among women. Recommended to enjoy on the rocks or with water.
Kagoshima Prefecture Nishishuzo 2011 Monde Selection Gold Award winner! Carefully crafted from selected Kogane Senkan, this sweet potato shochu overturns the concept of odor and expands the new world of authentic shochu with its innovative character.
Kagoshima Prefecture, handcrafted by Nishishuzō using a traditional method of brewing with a cask, boldly challenging ancient techniques with a modern sensibility. It has a solid strength and richness, with an excellent sharpness following the umami, and a deeper flavor when diluted with hot water.
Since the establishment of Nishishuzou in Kagoshima Prefecture, this brewery has continued to pursue the potential of sweet potatoes, using Ayamurasaki sweet potatoes that contain a lot of anthocyanins, resulting in a shochu with a wine-like floral aroma and a refreshing finish that enhances the umami and deep sweetness.
Similar to Sato Shuzou Imo Shochu from Kagoshima Prefecture, this shochu is made with hard-to-obtain water, emphasizing the essence of barley, with a rich flavor that brings out the roasted aroma and umami, making you realize the true skill of Sato in a single cup.
Among the Iki shochu from Genkai Shuzo in Nagasaki Prefecture, this limited edition sake is particularly popular. It is aged for 5 years in sherry casks, highlighting its excellent flavor and aroma, with a subtle sweetness and a smooth mouthfeel, making it enjoyable for women as well, at 22°.
