Revived Pineapple Curry by the Sea
Father of South Seas" used to be a famous restaurant in Nagoya, where I continued to study Sri Lankan curry for 20 years. After the owner succumbed to cancer, I had given up hope of ever being able to taste it again. But when I heard that the restaurant had made a comeback by the sea in Chita, I rushed to the restaurant to try the legendary Sri Lankan curry made by the owner who had made a wonderful comeback after being struck by illness. I was moved by the curry that I tasted on the beach while feeling various thoughts and feelings. ‼️
