I have a really hard time finding souvenirs for her... Since I started the food log, I have been able to buy souvenirs that satisfy my mother! I didn't buy this one from the food log, but... I bought it because I fell in love with the look of it! The wrappers are cute, but the middle of the cake is also molded and cute... My mother was very pleased with the appearance! The bean paste and skin is the most important part of monaka... Speaking of monaka, the famous Nakadaya Kanazawa Hyakubangai store in Kanazawa also sells them in Osaka. The day I bought it, I would be lectured... Back to the story, these monaka don't stick to the inside of your mouth, and the red bean paste is chewy and not too salty. My mother gave it a pass mark (≧∇≦)! Now I order it by myself and give it to my friends. It is in the midst of being approved by my mother who is such a picky person.
