Mr. Shiraan is now in the neighborhood!

I had to go home for a while during my lunch break.
I'm going to have lunch at Shiroan after a long time...
It was raining that day, so I thought it wouldn't be so crowded.
But I guess it doesn't matter what the weather is like!
There was no line, but it was always packed!
I was prepared for this because it was past 2:00 p.m., but they were sold out of kayaku gohan (boiled rice)!
I gave up on the lunch menu because I didn't want to eat udon with white rice.
I gave up on the lunch menu and ordered Gesoten Zaru Udon from the regular menu for 820 yen!
MY udon arrived a short time later!
Thick and shiny as ever!
The sauce is slightly sweet and has a strong soy sauce flavor.
The tempura is cut into thin strips with scissors.
The tempura here is dynamic and big!
The tempura here is dynamic and big! and crispy fried!
The udon noodles are very firm, so I was very full!
We are closed on Wednesdays but will be closed on Fridays during GW.
Please be careful if you go there!
Thank you very much for your visit!

I'm hungry!
Wasn't it really hot during the day even though it was October?
It was a little hot, so I came here for some cold udon!
I am glad that there is a good udon restaurant nearby!
This time, I had already decided before entering the menu!
Shoyu Chiku Tamatama Set! Cold, of course!
I also got the kayaku rice!
But I was told that they were sold out by the next visitor!
I was the last one to get it! Safe!
It takes a long time to boil up every time.
Please be patient!
My udon arrives!
Long, long, hiwaguwa tempura and egg tempura!
In the middle, grated daikon, ginger and sudachi!
The soy sauce is too strong, so pour a little at a time!
The noodles are as stiff as ever!
These noodles are so soft and chewy!
By the way, my mother prefers softer noodles, so this one seems to be a no-go for her.
Chikuwa Tempura is crispy and has the aroma of fish!
Kayaku rice is also cooked in iriko soup stock?
It is also delicious with a nice soup stock!
But since the noodles are so solid, I think the lunch set is quite a lot for a woman...
Even I had a hard time!
If you want less noodles, it is -50 yen.
I'll do the same next time!
Hakuan is as delicious as ever!
I'll be back to eat again~!

My favorite Shiroan!
Do you commute to work every day but don't go to the store as much as you think? Can't go?
I guess that's a thing, isn't it?
This time, I visited at night.
What's that? There are not many items on the izakaya menu, or a la carte menu.
I guess this is an udon restaurant after all.
Here is a dish that was on the menu this time.
Pickled cucumber, squid tempura, edamame, tako-wasa (tako-wasa)
I've been chowing down on these for a while now...
The waitress told us that they were going to run out of udon noodles around 8pm!
The amount of noodles they can make in a day is limited, so they close as soon as they run out of udon noodles!
There is a big possibility that they will run out at night, so you should call them.
So, if we sell a lot of udon at lunchtime, we will inevitably run out at night.
I chose Tsukegamo Udon this time!
The broth is sweet soy sauce with a hint of savory flavor.
The duck is also tender and delicious!
Udon noodles are still thick and very firm!
The owner says they are getting thicker and thicker.
But when I eat here, I feel that other udon noodles are not as firm.
I knew it was delicious!
I have to come here more often!
I was very satisfied with the food again!
Thanks for the food Samantha~♪♪♪♪

So close and so tasty, but barely twice!
This time I went for the voluminous tempura set for 950 yen!
However, I ordered less udon, so the price was -50 yen!
You can choose hot or cold udon!
Since it was cold, I chose the warm one.
It takes a little time for the udon to come out!
But I can wait because I know it's delicious!
Now, here it comes!
Tempura, isn't it amazing?
And they are all so big!
Tempura includes chikuwa, eggplant, nori, shishito peppers, maitake mushrooms, half-boiled egg, and much more!
All of them are crispy, and the tempura is not greasy and tasty!
But it's too big to eat?
The semi-boiled egg tempura has a soft yolk - I would prefer it if the yolk was a little more solid.
Udon noodles are delicious after all!
The aroma of the soup stock is very nice, and the texture of the udon is delicious even the second time!
Of course, kayaku rice is also delicious!
I am very satisfied again!
What shall we eat next? I'm looking forward to it!

I got this information from a my reviewer who is a pilgrim.
I heard that Shiroan is moving to a new location.
I had never been to the restaurant before the move.
I had never been to the restaurant before the relocation, but I knew the name because people who love udon said it was delicious.
I had no idea that it was coming to my neighborhood (-_-;)
I pass in front of this store on my way to work every day.
It was exciting to see the store being completed every day!
The day before, they were preparing until after 1:00 am (don't ask me what they were doing at that hour. (Don't ask me what they were doing at that hour.)
Then, on the third day of the opening, I finally went to the store!
The inside of the restaurant is brand new and clean!
There is a counter (Daeng shaped table) and table seating.
It is easy to come in even if you are alone.
I had already decided to order Toriten Bukkake Udon hot before ordering, so I ordered it!
During weekday lunch time, you can choose between white rice and kayaku rice, so I chose kayaku rice!
It takes 15 to 20 minutes to boil, so take your time!
Here it comes!
The first thing that surprised me was the size of the toriten!
It was huge!
There are four of these in the package!
They are juicy and very tasty, but to be honest, I think I would get bored with 4 pieces at the end.
I think 2 or 3 pieces would be better.
As for the noodles, they are very elastic! I think it's the first time I've ever had it!
You have to chew it well!
I think the soup stock had just the right ratio of soy sauce and soup stock.
It is a modest taste so that the udon will stand out.
The kayaku rice was a bit light in flavor.
But it's thin, but it's delicious and crunchy!
I am glad that a delicious udon restaurant has come so close by!
I know it's hard for pilgrims to come here because it's in the middle of nowhere.
But it takes only a few seconds to get there from the station, so I think it's convenient in that sense...
I'd like to try curry next time!
Next time I eat curry, if it's good, I'm sure my rating will go up!
The tongue served in the American style restaurant is delicious!
I ride my motorcycle down the street in front of this restaurant almost every day!
I have been wondering what kind of restaurant it is since it was opened. I've been wondering what kind of restaurant it is since it was built.
but I never have a chance to go there.
This time, something happened and I had a chance to go there.
Inside the restaurant, there is only a counter.
It is an American style restaurant.
The name of the restaurant, "Longhorn" means an American cow.
But the meat is not from America.
I forgot my camera and didn't take many pictures this time!
Here's what the menu looks like
Longhorn hamburger steak - 480 yen
Pickled under tongue 780 yen
Shrimp meat roll 530 yen
Sausage a la carte 380 yen
Salt tongue 980 yen
Special Thick-cut Tongue ¥1200
Diced Maegere 780 yen
Kalbi 680 yen
Special Top Ribs 980 yen
Special triangular rib 1180 yen
Harami 780 yen
Mae-bara Mizore-yaki (grilled with grated radish) 780 yen
Hoho (Tsunami)
I think the unit price is not so expensive.
Drinks: Kona beer and oolong tea are available for 100 yen!
Of course, the food is grilled over charcoal!
First, let's start with the tongue!
Hand-cut ~ thick slice~♪♪
This tongue is so delicious!
Chewy and firm, but not too hard,
No drippings from the grilling process!
The flavor is so good, you can eat it just as it is.
It was so delicious that I had to have another one!
And then there was the Harami and Tecchan!
I had the salted harami!
The tender Harami, of course, is too light if it is salted, but I think it is too light.
Tecchan, I had it with sauce, which I prefer.
The fat is very sweet and tender!
I had it with sauce, but it was a little too rich for my liking.
I should have alternated with the salt sauce since they also have salted tecchan!
Mae-bara Mizore-yaki, a thin piece of belly meat wrapped with grated daikon
How could it not be delicious?
This is also refreshingly delicious!
Wow, I didn't know there was such a nice restaurant nearby!
I should have come earlier!
Please, if you're local, try it!
It might be nice to have a light barbecue dinner here and then go to Shiraan for udon noodles afterwards...
I wonder if it would be difficult because they run out of udon noodles?
I'm so happy to see another nice restaurant besides Shirouan!
I'll take a proper picture next time!
Thanks for the food Samantha~♪♪♪♪
The kimono mamma is very welcoming, and the menu is cozy with lots of obanzai and a wide variety of dishes. It can accommodate about 20 people: 8 at the counter, 8 at the table, and 4 at the table. The restaurant is basically run by Mama alone. If you are alone, it is recommended to talk with her at the counter.
