My Best Kamo Soba!
A unique restaurant with only one type of menu.
I have eaten and walked around quite a lot for Soba, but this is the best Kamo Soba I have ever tasted.
It might be one of the best 3 soba restaurants I have been to in my life.
The three kinds of roasted duck served before Soba are also very tasty.
They serve two kinds of Soba, so you can enjoy it twice as much as usual.
The soba water is also very thick and viscous.
I am not good at waiting, so I waited for more than an hour from the time I arrived at the restaurant until I received my bowl of soba.
I usually do not repeat the same restaurant, but I will definitely do so.
There are only four types of food on the menu: chicken wings, thighs, gizzards, and grilled rice balls. This restaurant specializes in fried chicken, and is about a 7 or 8 minute walk from Jiyugaoka Station.
The taste of "gizzard," which was so good that I fainted in agony when I revisited the restaurant a few years ago, remains the same as it was then.
Even if I were to walk into the restaurant and be told, "We only have gizzards today," I would gladly answer, "Yes, that's fine. The flavor and texture without any cloying taste is the result of the freshness of the ingredients and the cooking skill of the owner.
I have never had better gizzards than here.
The chicken wings and thighs are also very tasty, and I even ate the small bones because they are carefully cooked at a high temperature (we do not recommend eating the bones, please do so at your own risk).
The flavor of the bird is enhanced when eaten with a squeeze of lemon!
The chicken wings are served with the breast meat and ribs as a whole, so you can enjoy the different tastes and textures of each part.
Although the restaurant is popular, reservations are only accepted on the first round of reservations. Other than that, you have to visit the restaurant in person, but I think it is well worth the visit.
