Refreshing & smooth, brewed to the same recipe since 1897, using 100% natural ingredients. The palate is delicately balanced.
"natural" because it's unfiltered with no preservatives "lager" because the light bitterness & dry finish.
In a bit of a nod to the suburb's past & present influences, we used a blend of australian malts. Then we added three varieties of local hops to make it fun, fruity & even a little bitter - just like newtown.
A rich & intensely flavoured farmhouse ale of multi species fermentation. The malt sweetness & clean bitterness are balanced by the delicate acidity of wild microorganisms.
Raw spelt, an ancient grain, complements the complex & souring acidity along with the delicious & lifted aromatics of derwent valley grown hop flowers.
Fruity-honey with a touch of malt, the flavour is crisp & well-balanced.

A straight Preservative free Mourvedre. Vibrant crimson in colour, with a sweet earthy nose and flavours of sour cherry and dark plum and spice. The palate is smooth and savoury with rustic rounded tannins. Unfined and bottled without any sulphite preservatives, this wine is organic, vegan friendly, and preservative free. Central Ranges, NSW
Opening with citrus, lemon pith and dried grass aromas, this typical dry Semillon has a balanced palate. Central Ranges, NSW
A slight bronzy colour from the skin contact, generous fruit aromas with a hint of savoury from fermentation and maturation in the oak foudre. Very varietal flavour with pear and quince. The palate reveals a distinctive texture and complexity not often seen in Australian Pinot Gris. Orange, NSW
