Moheji is famous for its Tsukishima monja. Moheji has gained popularity by adding glamour to traditional monja and sublimating it into an innovative product. The restaurant specializes in the two fields of "tradition" and "innovation" and incorporates elements of a bistro. Monja with French elements such as foie gras is a new culinary culture that cannot be experienced anywhere else.
High level of a la carte dishes! Stylish French monja
A famous monja restaurant on Tsukishima's monja street.
I had never been to the main restaurant because it was always crowded,
I went to the new one in Shibuya Scramble Square.
The other day, when I went to Gu-O on the same floor, there was a huge line, so I was curious about it.
This restaurant is a combination of monja and French cuisine!
I wondered what monja and French food was like...? I wondered,
But when I looked at the menu, it was so stylish!
The restaurant has a stylish atmosphere with seats for two and counter seating.
The menu is not your typical monja restaurant menu,
There are cold dishes, hot dishes, seafood, meat, and many more that look elaborate.
The appetizers are also stylish!
Grilled squid in tomato sauce? Or stewed squid?
Wait until it is simmering on the griddle.
This tomato sauce is also delicious.
Yonezawa beef liver steak (1100 yen)
Beautiful shiny liver! The combination of green onions and sesame oil makes for a delicious dish.
It is a cold dish, so it is cool and easy to eat.
Spring rolls of mehikari with ravigotte sauce (1,000 yen)
I had an image of fried mehikari, but this was my first time to try spring rolls!
A whole fish is rolled up, so it is very satisfying.
The sauce underneath is made of finely chopped onions and other vegetables and eggs,
The sauce underneath is a mixture of finely chopped onions, other vegetables, and eggs, dressed with lemon and olive oil.
It was like a tartar sauce, but refreshing and delicious.
Cod milt beignets with anchovy cream (1,500 yen)
I usually eat milt with ponzu (Japanese sauce), but sometimes I like to eat it in this fashionable way!
The milt is like a fritter, and the cream sauce underneath is surprisingly light.
It is not as heavy as it looks.
Pescatore monja + shrimp, cod roe, fresh sea urchin
Gorgeous monja filled with seafood!
The shrimp are so big that it makes me excited.
The monja is all cooked by the waiter.
Monja is a difficult thing to cook, so it's a relief to be able to leave it all to the waiter. LOL!
It's so French,
Pescatore monja
Lobster bisque monja
and many more.
I was curious about the fresh sea urchin cream monja.
The toppings were gorgeous, and I was surprised to see black truffles.
Of course, there are also regular monja and okonomiyaki (which the person next to me ordered and which also looked delicious).
Anyway, there is a wide variety on the menu.
Next time, I would like to enjoy it with a glass of wine!
(I was unusually non-alcoholic that day. (Unusually non-alcoholic on this day. lol)

I really liked the atmosphere of the restaurant.
The staff was friendly.
I had a great time.
Of course, the monja and okonomiyaki
The monja and okonomiyaki were both very tasty.
I would like to go back to try different types of monja again!
I would like to go back for a different type of monja again!
Lobster bisque monja
Lunch time: +1,000 yen
Salad of the day + 3 pieces of yakitori + drink
There is also a special set that comes with a drink 😊.
I'm not sure how I feel about the taste, but I'm eating it with my eyes closed.

There is always a line, even on weekdays, and I got in line before the restaurant opened 😊.
The store was listed as *(this is the 15th store in the group), but there were only 6 stores listed as Tsukishima Monja, so I'm just guessing on the number of stores...
First, before the new "Moheji" business model
I will write about the regular "Moheji"... I'll write about the regular "Moheji"...
When I say "Moheji", I mean

Then, as for the interior of the restaurant
Black and brown are the basic colors.
It's a very stylish and luxurious space
Japanese style, but it's a very stylish space!
In fact, it is described as a sophisticated urban space
It is described as a sophisticated urban space that is different from the image of a conventional monjayaki restaurant.
As for the counter seats
The open kitchen allows you to look into the cooking area.
and there is a teppan for one person, so you can enjoy the food at your ease.
There are many counter seats available so that one can easily come alone, and there are also seats set up with a smaller griddle for couples 😊.
The last step was to pay the bill at the table 💰.

We arrived a little early, but they were able to set us up right away.
Also, the recommended sashimi and monja toppings were delicious.
The employees were cheerful and easy to talk to.
The most important thing was the volume of food. My daughter and I ordered too much, and when we asked them to cancel our order on short notice, they did not look at us with displeasure and said yes. We didn't have to waste food.
I really appreciated it.
It was crowded by the time we left, so we will make a reservation to visit again.
Thank you for the food.
Stylish monja at Shibuya Scramble Square
Moheji-san, a monjayaki restaurant on the 12th floor of Scramble Square that my friend said serves delicious and gorgeous monjayaki (^-^)
The concept of the restaurant is French cuisine with monjayaki, and what is clearly different from other monjayaki restaurants is the variety of monjayaki dishes and the gorgeous toppings such as lobster and truffles. The side menu also includes crab, Yonezawa beef, foie gras. Foie gras. The albacore menu is full of gorgeous items!
I had a hard time deciding on the monjayaki, which I thought looked delicious after reading other people's postings: pescatore monja + shrimp. I saw other people's post and decided to have pescatore monja + prawns. I decided on raw sea urchin!
The waiter cooks the monja right in front of you, so it's easy and fun!
The monjayaki is carefully prepared to the point where the ingredients lose their original shape, and the rich seafood flavor comes together to form one delicious dish!
The Yamazaki 12 year old highball that I ordered with the monjayaki is a must!
We also had Yonezawa beef liver steak. Cod milt beignets with anchovy cream sauce. I was very satisfied with the high level of food, which was so stylish and delicious that I could not believe it was a monjayaki restaurant!
We also had a great time with the Opus One for red wine and Dom Perignon for champagne. They even have high-class sake such as Dom Perignon and Dom Perignon No. 6X type for red wine and Champagne, etc. I would like to come here again for a drink.
Thank you for the food!
