One Grilled Eel
It is often said that for the first serving, eat it as it is, for the second serving, add condiments, for the third serving, pour dashi and have it as ochazuke, and for the fourth serving, eat it as you like, but please enjoy it freely. Hitsumabushi uses 2/3 of an eel, while Jyouhitsumabushi uses one whole eel. Baimebushi contains twice the amount of rice compared to a regular serving with one eel. Eel that has been bled and aged for 1 to 10 days to bring out its umami, then wrapped on a skewer and grilled. Comes with a choice of sauce or salt seasoning. A convenient way to enjoy eel dishes. The name 'Chestnut Grilled' comes from its resemblance to the Kurikara Sword wielded by Fudo Myoo. Sauce: 550 yen, Salt: 550 yen.
We grilled chicken thigh meat marinated in our special eel sauce and placed it on top of rice. The chicken used is from Okumikawa-dori, which are healthy chickens raised in the great nature of Okumikawa Plateau in Aichi Prefecture.
