Region: 'Calabria' Variety: 'Greco Bianco' 100% native variety from Calabria. It has a different origin from that of Campania and is more similar to the characteristics of Falanghina. Produced in the 'Tuscany' region, primarily from the 'Sangiovese' variety, with long maceration in large cement tanks, natural yeast fermentation, and unfiltered. Aged for 24 months in used large barrels. Traditionally blended with white varieties, this is a wine for everyday drinking. The Fanetti family has lived in the Montepulciano area since the 1700s and operates a farm that includes winemaking. They generally do not use fertilizers and minimize pesticide use, cultivating with natural yeast fermentation and no temperature control.
