This Miyagi Prefecture boasts a fishing ground that is proud to be known worldwide. Did you know that Sanriku is one of the world's three major fishing grounds? Here in Sanriku, cold and warm currents collide, bringing fish from the north and south. Particularly, the waters off Kinkasan Island are rich in plankton. The best fish in Japan gather here in Miyagi Prefecture. Please enjoy this fresh fish. It is served with vinegared rice and seaweed, so you can make hand rolls for double the deliciousness. Now, you can't start without trying this first. Available in one serving, but can be ordered for two or more.
Seasonal limited, available until sold out
Swordfish from Kesennuma. Kesennuma Port is an important base for distant-water fishing in Japan, bringing in abundant seafood from the Sanriku coast. Among them, the swordfish has consistently had the highest catch volume in Japan. The winter swordfish caught from October to March is rich in fat and offers a deep flavor. We are confident in its freshness, so we serve it as 'rare fry.' It is best enjoyed with our homemade shiba-zuke tartar sauce!
