Raised in the Mizusawa district, with a meat quality grade of 4 or higher and grades A or B. It is shipped through the Iwate Furusato Agricultural Cooperative. The meat is characterized by its tenderness and a slight sweetness. In the fiscal year 2014, it received the prestigious award for the sixth time, the most in the nation, at the National Meat Quality Beef Competition! It has won the highest award and achieved a double crown nationwide, producing high-quality Mizusawa Beef.
Sendai Beef is beef that is raised in Miyagi Prefecture and is rated as A5 or B5 in meat quality. It is characterized by a pleasant mouthfeel, tenderness, mild flavor, and rich juiciness. It achieved back-to-back victories in the National Meat Quality Competition in 2016 and 2017, making its name known worldwide.
