[Octopus, Red Ginger, Green Onion, Mayonnaise, Bonito Flakes] Octopus, red ginger, and green onion are added and grilled. Finally, mayonnaise and bonito flakes are sprinkled on top to complete it. The authentic barley shochu 'Ichiban Fuda' gets its name from the 'Ichiban Fudasho', which is the starting sacred site of the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage, located very close to its birthplace. To fulfill one's wishes, just like the path that moves forward, I hope that through the taste of 'Ichiban Fuda', you can welcome tomorrow with a positive feeling. This is an authentic barley shochu created with such thoughts in mind.
Iichiko means 'it's good' or 'it's nice' in the dialect of the northern part of Oita Prefecture. The suffix 'chiko' is a unique emphasis expression in this region, used in phrases like 'souchiko' (that's right) and 'suru chiko' (I'll do it). It was adopted as a friendly product name that reflects the local characteristics, as Sanwa Shurui is headquartered in Usa City, located in the northern part of Oita Prefecture.
"Kicchomu" is a long-established brewery founded in the second year of the Keio era (1866), and it is based on the main brand "Oita Barley Shochu Nikaido" from Nikaido Sake Brewery. This barley shochu is carefully aged to pursue a pleasant aftertaste and drinkability. The flavor, crafted using a secret method passed down through generations of the brewery, can be described as a supreme delicacy.
The authentic sweet potato shochu 'Kinkuro' is made from 100% 'Ogon Senkan' sweet potatoes produced in Kagoshima Prefecture. It is an authentic sweet potato shochu brewed with black koji. We thoroughly pursued the flavors that customers who enjoy sweet potato shochu seek, maximizing its appeal and aiming for a taste that balances the rich umami characteristic of the sweet potato with a clean aftertaste.
In the 5th year of the Taisho era, the shochu first released by the founder of Kirishima Shuzo, Yoshisuke Enatsu, was made with black koji. The authentic sweet potato shochu 'Kurokirishima,' which inherits the roots of the black koji brewing from the time of its founding, is characterized by its rich sweetness and crisp finish. It enhances delicious dishes of any genre, making them shine even more.
Ikkokumon refers to a stubborn person in the dialect of southern Kyushu. 'Ikkokumon' is a genuine sweet potato shochu that stubbornly adheres to the 'deliciousness made only from sweet potatoes.' It is made solely from sweet potatoes and sweet potato koji, expressing the true essence of the sweet potato without any off-flavors in every drop. It features a unique production method that emphasizes the naturally sweet aroma and refreshing taste of high-quality sweet potato koji.
Using high-quality sweet potatoes from the northern Satsuma region of Kagoshima Prefecture, specifically the Kogane Senkan variety, and employing the famous water sourced from the majestic Shiboyama mountain range in northern Satsuma, this authentic sweet potato shochu is crafted with a commitment to traditional methods, utilizing black koji and stored in clay pots. As a result, it boasts a very good balance of aroma, richness, and sweetness, characterized by a rich and smooth texture and refined flavor.
This shochu is made using fragrant red shiso that is cultivated exclusively for Tantakatan in Shiranuka Town, Hokkaido. It is a refreshing shochu brewed with carefully selected aromatic shiso and the pure water from the Daisetsuzan mountain range. Enjoy the refreshing flavor that spreads in your mouth.

The Tanba brewers are a group of sake-making artisans counted among Japan's three major sake brewers. They have supported the sake production in Nada for over 300 years.
