Utsunomiya Brewery, founded in the fourth year of the Meiji era, is famous nationwide for 'Shiki Sakura'. It has won the gold medal at the National New Sake Competition organized by the National Tax Agency for six consecutive years and is used as the in-flight sake for Japan Airlines' international first class. The brewery also produces 'Daiginjo Manyo Sei', which won a gold medal in the SAKE category at the IWC wine competition.
