Kagoshima cab driver told me about Uma Tonkatsu Kurokatsutei. The top loin lunch was only 1,060 yen, and it was outstandingly good! I thought that salt goes well with really good meat! The menchikatsu I ordered separately was delicious!

It is easy to walk to from the station, and the interior has a clean and calm atmosphere with a black theme. The seats are partitioned with noren (fabric dividers), allowing you to grill at your leisure without worrying about those around you. You can taste various cuts of Omi beef, and I was impressed by the tenderness of the misuji and zabuton cuts. The marbled tongue has a pleasant elasticity and smoothness, and when paired with lemon, its flavor is enhanced. The sauce pairs perfectly with rice, and the refreshing cold noodles with sudachi citrus at the end were also great. The efficient staff responded cheerfully, and I was pleased with the complimentary oolong tea.

It was the best sushi I have ever had in Kagoshima. We chose a nice restaurant to celebrate our wedding, and when we told the owner that we were getting married, he offered us a sea bream sashimi as a service. I was very happy. The waitress was very kind and warm, and we were really impressed. I would definitely choose this restaurant again for an important anniversary. I will visit again when I collect my salary...lol! I had an all-you-can-drink course for 6,000 yen including tax in a private room. The sashimi was incredibly delicious. Local dishes like grilled shirasu and pork bone stew, as well as aoyasa and shrimp tempura, were all tasty. Every dish was beautifully presented. I was also happy that the all-you-can-drink option included draft Sapporo Black Label beer, and I heard that the way they mixed shochu was well done. There were also many types of soft drinks, which was great. The only thing that concerned me was that the staff grabbed the glasses from above when placing drinks on the table. I want to go again!
