A Long-Established Brewery Where You Can Enjoy History and Tradition
Yamaji Sake Brewery, founded in the first year of the Tenbun era (1532), is the fourth oldest sake brewery in Japan. They use locally grown, reduced-pesticide sake rice to provide safe and high-quality Japanese sake. Notably, their 'Kuwazake,' made using traditional methods, is famous and is said to have been enjoyed by literary greats. The sweets made with Kuwazake sold on-site are also a must-try, offering new flavors to enjoy with each visit.
