Miki is a health drink made from sweet potatoes and rice porridge that have been fermented with lactic acid, a tradition passed down in Amami Oshima for a long time. It is highly nutritious and easy to digest, making it popular among people of all ages on the island. It is also recommended when you feel a little hungry.
This is an original drink based on Tankan from Yakushima. Instead of rum, sweet mint syrup is used. The dry taste does not lose to alcohol.

This tea is made by boiling the branches of Kuro-moji, which is said to help balance the stomach and prevent colds. Enjoy it with miso peanuts.
