A pure rice shochu jointly developed by volunteers from the 'Sagarappa 21 Association' in Sagara Village, Kumamoto Prefecture. It uses 'Hinohikari' rice from Sagara Village as a local product and employs the groundwater from the Kawabe River, which has been confirmed to contain 2,711 species of organisms. It is packed with the deep flavors of nature. This is a rice shochu nurtured by clear streams.
We are particular about 'rice' and use carefully selected delicious rice. The water is smooth and clean water from the Hitoyoshi basin, rich in minerals, and has been crafted with care. The rich aroma and refreshing taste are truly a blessing from nature. A fruity and elegant rice fragrance with a light mouthfeel.
This is a 'naturally aromatic' pure rice shochu with a mellow and refreshing flavor. It was created by expertly blending shochu with a refreshing taste, 'oak barrel aged shochu', 'cedar barrel aged shochu', and 'aged yeast brewed shochu'.
In the sacred place of rice shochu, Kumamoto Prefecture's Kumagumi District, Master Brewer Maeda, with about 40 years of experience, fermented at low temperatures using yellow koji mold and yeast for ginjo sake. Furthermore, we used about twice the usual amount of rice koji to deepen the flavor. This is a proud bottle that has been bottled unfiltered to preserve these commitments.
Oni Tō is a revolutionary shochu made with pure Kumamoto spring water and carefully selected rice, using a natural aging method along with the introduction of ultrasonic 'PASS', resulting in a drink that is gentle on the body with less chance of bad hangovers and hangover symptoms.
You can enjoy a rich depth created by the harmony of aged sake that has matured over time and shochu made with black koji. Additionally, the charming floral aroma and a hint of sweetness are also appealing. 'Mokkosu' means 'a stubborn and resolute person' in the Kumamoto dialect.
The rice used in 'Gokuraku' is made from locally sourced rice from the Kumamoto region. The Kumamoto shochu, brewed with this rice and the beautiful water and climate of the Kumagawa River, has the oldest history and tradition in the country. Since its establishment in the mid-Edo period, Hayashi Shuzō has been producing shochu with a focus on quality.
We have created a marriage of authentic rice shochu and authentic barley shochu, both with a 500-year tradition. Due to its excellent sharpness, it is the most beloved drink among authentic shochus in the Kumamoto region as a food pairing sake.
Kurokirishima, which reproduces the flavor of black koji brewing from the time of its founding with the latest equipment and our unique brewing method. The deliciousness created by black koji is characterized by a rich sweetness and a crisp finish. This exquisite taste is crafted from the long-standing tradition and exceptional techniques of Kurokiri Sake Brewery, spanning over 90 years.
This is a mellow and sweet shochu that can be enjoyed without getting tired of it. It was named 'Satsuma Shima Bijin' with the wish that it would always be loved by the men of the island (world). It is skillfully blended from shochu brewed by five different distilleries, each with their own traditions and techniques.
Among the many varieties of sweet potatoes, the particularly rare 'Norin No. 56' is a unique sweet potato that, through the skill of its producers who fully bring out its characteristics, results in a gentle and soft drop of flavor that is worth a sip.
Representing the sweet potato shochu, 'Golden Senkan' allows us to learn from the past while embracing the new. Through the craftsmanship of the artisans driven by their quest for knowledge, a refreshing and noble flavor is born amidst its intense personality. The rare power of 'Yellow Monkey.' Worth a single sip.
Brewed only with carefully selected barley, barley koji, and natural pure water. It is a bestseller of authentic shochu that is smooth and never tiresome to drink.
Using fresh sweet potatoes grown in the land of Kagoshima, we carefully craft 'Satsuma Shochu Tanen.' Among them, 'Tanen Imo' brings out the fluffy umami of the sweet potatoes by using traditional techniques and white koji, resulting in a deep and rich flavor.
We have been committed to 100% domestically produced two-row barley, constantly pursuing 'deliciousness and drinkability' every day. In the process, we arrived at the best blend of atmospheric distillation and low-temperature distillation, as well as new refining methods, leading to the current Kurouma.
