Waraku is located in Nishiazabu and specializes in motsunabe from Hakata, Kyushu. Many are captivated by the fresh ingredients delivered directly from Hakata and the authentic flavors of the motsunabe. The motsunabe is available in soy sauce and miso varieties, as well as a water-boiled style, with each dish being a mouthwatering delight. Enjoy delicious motsunabe in a homely atmosphere that feels just like the real thing.

We cooled off and visited "Wara," a restaurant opened in Nishi-Azabu by two people who trained for 15 years at the long-established Yamanaka, which was ranked No. 1 in the Hakata Motsu Nabe Ranking for 10 consecutive years. A stylish hideaway, with a view of greenery from the windows, it is also recommended for women's parties. A delicious dish from Kyushu is available, and it is almost impossible to get to the motsu nabe. The tender vinegared motsu, of the highest quality, that I gradually suppressed the desire to refill. The fried burdock is a must-try, dynamically divided into three equal portions, yet it is well seasoned and tastes like a snack, making beer go down a treat. Even those who do not like burdock can enjoy this dish. The motsu nabe is said to be sold in a soy sauce broth, but since I wanted to drink Barolo, I went with the miso broth. The white, sparkling white fish in the thick broth was made of giara and hormone. The vegetables and tofu were also plentiful. And the waiter was very attentive in preparing and serving them to us. It is difficult to determine the degree of heat, and there are different tastes, so it is a pleasure to have the restaurant prepare it for you. The restaurant was willing to accommodate our order of chanpon first and then zosui (rice porridge) to finish the meal. They will also make the final dish for you. We also ordered a lot of other things, including a bottle of bubbles and three beers and a bottle of Barolo for ³,000 per person! The restaurant is very popular and reservations are hard to come by.

We are having a 5th anniversary event until the end of June! The owner of the restaurant has been trained for 15 years at "Yamanaka", a restaurant he visited when he traveled to Hakata and was shocked by its deliciousness. The restaurant is located along Hoshijoki Dori in Nishi-Azabu, a little far from the station and difficult to find. I ordered the miso-flavored motsu nabe that impressed me at YAMANAKA, and was delighted to find that it was only 1,480 yen, which is more than 2,000 yen for one serving at some famous restaurants in Tokyo. It appeared cooked and ready to eat at any time, and suddenly you eat it? The garlic was more garlicky than I remember at the time, but it was like a slight buttery flavor. It was delicious, but not quite the same as the flavor at Yamanaka. The picture is for two people, but it's not enough for two people. There seems to be an option to add more, but if you go there mainly for food, it would be better to order at least 3 servings. The fried burdock and chicken wings recommended by a follower are also tasty (no picture), and since there are no private rooms in the restaurant, it would be good for a party-type meal. Drinks are only 180 yen until the end of June to celebrate their 5th anniversary, which is a good deal.
