I wanted to overcome my dislike of Genghis Khan, so I went to [Akaya Narikishikan], which is reputed to be delicious.
It is tender, has no smell, and the fat is delicious!
The staff at the restaurant was very nice, and I'm glad I found a good restaurant☆.
The restaurant had just reopened after renovation, so I hope they will be even more cashless next time I go there!
Since it was only my first time, I ordered a single dish I wanted to try. The dumplings, fried tofu, and fried rice were delicious!
The sweet-and-sour pork could use a little more meat. They seem to have a good lunch menu, so I would like to go back for lunch.
This is a quiet shop located near a streetcar stop, just off the main road. The space has a warmth from the wood, and the soft lighting is comfortable. The oden has a refreshing broth that is fragrant, and everything from the classic daikon and egg to the surprising avocado was satisfying. Changing the flavors with mustard, red yuzu, green onions, and bonito miso pickles makes it even more enjoyable to eat. The black pork shabu-shabu has a gentle broth, and the meat is very tender and impressive. The finishing touch of nyumen goes down smoothly and pairs well with wine and sansho highballs.
A tranquil café where you can enjoy a historical backdrop
Chinjukan Pottery is a serene café located within the historic grounds of Tsurumaru Castle in Kagoshima. The spacious interior offers stunning views of Sakurajima through the windows. The dishes are served in beautiful Satsuma pottery, a local ceramic, making it a perfect spot to take a break and relax.
This sushi restaurant in Kagoshima City offers fresh seafood delights. The owner sources ingredients directly from the market, allowing guests to enjoy carefully prepared nigiri and sashimi. During the day, the prices are affordable, while in the evening, the atmosphere is inviting for guests to casually enjoy rare Japanese sake.
The restaurant is lively, and the atmosphere is uplifting. We simmer beef and vegetables in a uniquely shaped pot and eat them dipped in sauce. The cooking method is unlike any other, and the flavor expands with every bite. It's fun to finish by placing the ingredients in the central indentation, and it makes you want to keep eating. The udon noodles served at the end, enjoyed in a broth full of flavor, are the best. Finally, you can enjoy a rice porridge, leaving you with a great sense of satisfaction after the meal.
The atmosphere is comfortable, and the energy from the counter is palpable. The sushi chef and the Japanese cuisine chef work in harmony to create a continuous course. The sashimi and local fish are very fresh, and each bite releases a burst of flavor. The sweetfish, grilled while maintaining its shape on a skewer, had a fragrant skin and the flesh was plump, leaving a lasting impression. The flow of grilled dishes, simmered dishes, and nigiri is pleasant, and the firefly squid and thick sea bream along the way provide enjoyable textures. The selection of shochu is also abundant, and the staff can recommend pairings, allowing you to fully enjoy the combinations with the dishes.
This is a curry shop with a traditional atmosphere that feels calming. The interior is clean and comfortable. The curry has a perfect balance of spices within its mildness, making it delicious until the last bite. It comes with two sunny-side-up eggs as a topping, which adds excitement to the presentation. I appreciate the options to choose from small portions, half servings, spicy curry, and hayashi rice. The staff is lively and friendly, which naturally brings a smile to my face.
