【Tokyo Komada Todai-mae】 Known for its delicious offerings ranging from sweet breads to savory pastries, this bakery is an all-rounder in the bread world. It has one of the highest repeat customer rates in Tokyo. Due to the restriction of no entry for groups of six or more, there are often long lines to get in. A la carte ◇ Kouign-Amann ◇ White Chocolate ◇ Hot Dog ◇ Focaccia with Olives and Tomatoes Focaccia made with Greek Kalamata olives, Italian green Castelvetrano olives, semi-dried tomatoes, and Swiss Gruyère cheese. ◇ Salted Butter Corn Bread This bread, made with Tokachi wheat, is filled with sweet corn and salted butter, creating a perfect and delicious combination. ◇ Raisin Bread Despite visiting after 4 PM on a holiday, the selection was excellent, with new breads continuously being baked, making it fun to choose from a wide variety. Everything I tried was truly delicious; it's my favorite!

Komaba Higashidaimae [Le Le Sole]. I bought a croque monsieur at a famous local bakery that some people go to from afar. I was enchanted by the aroma of grilled cheese on the outside. Inside, the béchamel sauce overflowed into the air and was irresistible. The roasted ham is also a nice accent. I'm so local that I'm surprised I haven't posted this on my Instagram yet, but I sometimes take a morning walk to buy a luxurious breakfast 💦. I have many other favorite breads, but the croque monsieur makes me feel warm and fuzzy on a holiday morning. Thanks for the treat 😋.
