The skillful hands of the craftsman viewed over the counter were impressive, and I felt excited every time the oil sizzled. The thin batter was light and airy, and the savory soy sauce flavor of the corn spread throughout my mouth, leaving me in awe. The plump shrimp were crispy all the way to the head, allowing me to enjoy every bit of their flavor. A dish of crispy shrimp toast topped with caviar had a perfect balance of saltiness and refreshing lemon. Each item, from the melting sea urchin tempura to the konjac soaked in dashi, showcased thoughtful creativity. In the calm Japanese atmosphere and with the warm attentiveness of the staff, I was able to enjoy a happy experience until the very end.
