I'm so happy to be able to eat tempura easily! Tempura no Makinosan has opened in Umeda! I've been wanting to go there since they had a restaurant in Kobe! I'm so happy to have such a restaurant nearby! The location is on the 2nd floor of the Hankyu Railway station, heading towards JR Osaka station. I am sure you can easily recognize it from its appearance. I have been in front of the restaurant several times asking if there is a day when the line is short. I asked if there was a day when the line was not so long. On this day, there was no one in line! Now! Inside the restaurant, there are counter seats and table seats around the kitchen I was alone, so I went to the counter. The space between the seats is a little tight, don't you think? It might be because I had a lot of luggage. Since it was the first time to order, I ordered the "Maki-no Teishoku" (set meal) for 990 yen (excluding tax). When rice and miso soup are brought to you, you're off to start! First, a big kakiage! It is fried crispy and fluffy! You can taste the sweetness of the vegetables and the different textures. This kakiage is made by placing the ingredients in a tube in the middle of the oil. This way, anyone can do it well, no matter who they are! Egg tempura If you break it on top of rice, it becomes tamago kakegohan (rice topped with an egg)! He told me that it would be good as tamago kakegohan (rice topped with an egg), so I followed his advice! Indeed! A little bit of soy sauce makes it a tkg! And the tempura around the egg is a plus, making it even more delicious! This was the kind of rice that makes you gobble it up! Tempura Pumpkin Eggplant Flounder Kiss Squid Shrimp All are freshly fried and the portions are large and satisfying! Because they are so large, you can change the taste by eating half with salt and half with tempura sauce. If you can eat hot tempura with squid and shrimp for a little over 1,000 yen, it's a good deal! But the price is the same at lunch time too! I think I might think it's a bit expensive if I eat it for lunch! And what's nice is that it's easy for a woman to eat alone! There are many other people here besides me, so I feel very safe. I'm so thankful that more and more restaurants like this are opening! Whenever I feel like eating tempura again, I'll stop by again! Thanks for the food!

May 21, 2018 Center Plaza for the second day in a row (lol) Freshly fried crispy fluffy tempura set meal 🍤. The deep fried tempura is served on a plate right after frying, which makes me so excited ♡. The karei and the mackerel tempura were delicious!
