A gallery café enjoyed in a traditional Kyoto machiya

Aoi Club is a gallery café studio that has been artfully renovated from a 120-year-old Kyoto machiya. The interior is beautifully adorned with retro furniture and ceramics from renowned artists, creating a calm atmosphere where you can enjoy handmade sweets and drinks. The apple pie, famous in Kyoto, and the aromatic coffee brewed with German machines particularly captivate visitors. The space also features a gallery area, allowing guests to savor a leisurely time alongside art.

Stylish cafe in an old private house with a great atmosphere This old private house café was renovated from a private house that no one had lived in for a while, and they hold events such as private exhibitions (; ・・`д・´) There is no parking space, so go to a nearby coin parking lot. The entrance of the café looks stylish, but the interior is quite elaborate with moss-covered floors and furniture, and the round tables in the back are private rooms. Jazz music is playing softly...the atmosphere is quite relaxing. There was an extensive tea menu, although the coffee didn't seem to be particularly particular about it. All the women who came later ordered cakes, so they must be delicious. A lady who looks like a madam manages the place by herself, but she kindly explained everything to us and gave us all the sweets we could eat during the event.

Old house cafe✨ I've been curious about this place for a while, so I visited. I love the kokeshi dolls on the floor! They also hold events such as private exhibitions. It was a relaxing and artistic space. ☕︎ I've been curious about their detox tea ✨ and they have a tea called Blue and cheesecake ✨ They also have to-go items like apple pie ✨.
