Uohen is a Japanese restaurant that has recently relocated to the first floor of Hive Nagaoka, offering ample parking and a comfortable space. The dishes served in the new kitchen maintain the same meticulous seasoning and high-quality ingredients as before. Particularly outstanding are the sashimi, simmered dishes, and tempura made with seasonal local ingredients. ハイブ長岡の1階にある新しいお店で、店内の雰囲気が心地よいです。魚料理が中心で、繊細で丁寧な味わいが楽しめます。日替わりの定食や刺身の御膳は、素材の良さがしっかり伝わります。海鮮丼は種類が多く、トロも入っていてとても満足です。天ぷらや野菜の煮物もおいしく、山菜やレンコンの香りがうれしいです。席数も多くて落ち着けるので、ゆっくりお魚を味わえます。

All the fish dishes were carefully prepared, and I was satisfied from start to finish. The sashimi had a wide variety, with tuna, sea bream, and blackthroat seaperch being very fresh. The richness of the aged sea bream and the chewy texture of the blackthroat seaperch were impressive. The simmered fish had the bones properly removed, so I could eat it without worry, even if I took big bites. The small side dishes, tempura, miso soup, and pickles were all meticulously made, showcasing seasonal ingredients. There are also reservation-based kaiseki meals, and I appreciate being able to enjoy them in a relaxed box meal style.
