When I took off my shoes and sat at the kotatsu-style counter, I felt relaxed in the calm atmosphere. The appetizer was carefully prepared, which lifted my spirits from the start. The sashimi, with its melting sweetness of scallops and white fish, was truly impressively delicious. The homemade squid salted fish and monkfish liver with ponzu paired perfectly with the sake, making it hard to put down my chopsticks. The lineup of sake was interesting, and the brand recommended by the owner had a pleasant aroma and was easy to drink. It was a lovely tavern with a homey feel and a lively atmosphere, including a bit of smoke, where I ended up staying longer than I intended.
