I made a reservation to visit my favorite restaurant in Kyoto with a friend. You can walk along the Shirakawa River and enter the restaurant through an entrance located in a secluded area. The interior of the restaurant is in the style of a century-old machiya (townhouse), and the process to the room was also very Kyoto-like. The menu offers only Mizutaki course, which is comforting and warming, especially in the cold winter. We were served with vegetables and chicken, and at the beginning we enjoyed individually prepared dishes. Finally, we were served oudon and dessert, and truly enjoyed a wonderful Kyoto meal.
