Tori Yasa

Located in Kiyamachi, Kyoto, this house by the river boasts a quaint Japanese atmosphere. The interior design is attractive, maintaining the beauty of traditional Japanese architecture while providing modern comforts. In summer, the restaurant features a noryo-doko, a floor where diners can enjoy their meals while gazing at the cool flow of the river, providing a space where one can experience the seasonal atmosphere.

Born the second son of a long-established restaurant specializing in chicken dishes, founded in 1858. Since junior high school, he naturally stood in the kitchen and was determined to take over the family business. During his school years, through trips to the U.S., Canada, and France, his service experiences in hotels and restaurants in various countries motivated him to join the family business. He continues to provide the same hospitality while preserving the traditional "taste" and atmosphere of the townhouse.
